News : Five Nights at Freddy's 2 begins development

During a recent interview, Matthew Lyn Lillard (who played William Afton in the first movie ) gave us a highly anticipated update on Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Lillard revealed that production starts in November, a little later than he previously expected. He also offered an update on the movie's script, claiming that ''we learned a lot from the first film'' and is sure that the sequel will improve on it :

So this morning, I got a text with my dates. So, my dates are the beginning of November and another series of dates. So, we're going to work. I'm really thrilled. I think the script's fantastic. (...) The whole cast is great, and I think we learned a lot in the first film. I think the second film is going to sort of benefit from those things. We're all excited about where the movie is at right now. We're all excited about where the movie is at right now.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is supposed to be released on December 5, 2025, and aims to surpass the first movie, which earned almost over 300 million USD.
